Shared Reality 2025.02

At Samp, innovation isn’t just a buzzword, it’s our commitment. In the first half of 2025, we’ve rolled out several major updates across our solution Shared Reality to further empower industrial teams, streamline data processes, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with digital twins and intelligent facility management.

Shared Reality 2025.02 is here! This release reflects our continued focus on helping field and office teams work smarter with cleaner, more accurate data—directly within the context of real assets. From advanced equipment recognition to improved collaboration tools in 3D, every update is built to support safer, more efficient, and more informed decision-making in daily plant operations.

Explore the highlights of what’s new and see how Shared Reality is helping teams take the next step toward smarter maintenance and better control over their facility data.

Q1

Globe Chooser

All your sites on a Globe Chooser
Now you can easily visualize and pinpoint all your georeferenced sites directly on satellite imagery. Move the globe, zoom in, zoom out, the list of available sites is updated accordingly.

Site Administration

Publish and display reliable changes
Discover the new change management in site administration. Assess the impact of changes before making them available to all, publish only a subset of the modifications or all of them, and make sure that the changes can move into the site without affecting its behavior or causing malfunctions.

User Management

Streamline access control and enhance security
Ensures secure and efficient access control by defining user permissions (Roles) based on organizational needs and facility visibility (Audience). Process bulk user creation from a csv file (Excel) file or export all the existing users in one single file.

Annotation Pictures

Include images in annotations
Ensure that your annotations include both hyperlinks and high-quality images. Incorporating detailed photographs of the physical asset will enhance the clarity, accuracy, and effectiveness of issue reporting within Shared Reality

Automatic CSV Import

CMMS/EAM/ERP integration at equipment level
Enhance operational efficiency with integrated equipment-level data visualization in Shared Reality. Connect your CMMS, EAM, or ERP systems with Infobox tailored content from .CSV, .xlsx, providing direct access to key technical information within your 3D reality context.

Q2

P&ID Redlining

Markup P&ID or isometric faster with redlining
Highlight, suggest, and review any necessary corrections in the P&ID, PFD or in any 2D technical representation in order to fix the discrepancies with reality. Add revision clouds, insert standard equipment symbols, draw connected lines or text and then, share your updates.

User-Guide

Shared Reality user-guide
Help your users understand and navigate Shared Reality’s features, functions, and best practices, the user guide empowers all teams – experienced or new – to make the most out of Shared Reality

Scanning Services

Extend the reach of your scanning services by delivering your scanning campaigns on an AI-powered 3D worspace, designed from the ground up for the industry. Leverage your surveying and topographic expertise to consolidate valuable field data into a single viewer: maps, aerial and drone orthophotos, laser scans, photogrammetry or videogrammetry, and georadar can now be securely viewed, updated and shared in one place.

Engineering services, EPC

Upscale the value of your engineering services offering by delivering digital twin as a service, powered by your qualified staff. Improve customer retention with longer-term contracts that ensure continuous synchronization of technical data with the as-built facility. Accelerate or automate the production of technical deliverables when working on brownfield projects with little or no existing input information.

CONTRACT OPERATORS

When preparing a quote for operating a facility on behalf of the owner, be sure to maximize that short window of time by taking advantage of as much technical information as possible. Turn your initial site visit into a unique opportunity to capture the current condition of the facility. Make a bid that will beat the competition with an already operational digital twin, while giving you increased confidence in your future service contract margins.

OWNER OPERATORS

Whether you manage a single plant or multiple sites, whether your facilities are on-shore or off-shore, we can help you build and maintain a twin within days. Major milestones in a plant’s lifecycle, such as handover from EPC to operator, change of ownership, revamping or decommissioning, provide an opportunity to implement a safer and more efficient way of working with your extended teams, regardless of the quality of your technical data.
